HI, I’M CRISTINA.

I’m a Wall Street and Silicon Valley business woman turned stay at home mom after I had my two boys 20 months apart. I tried to work a few less demanding jobs, partly because I loved working, and partly because it allowed me to spend more time with my kids. But at the end of the day I always ended up feeling like…I was missing out. 

As a mom, I’m intimately familiar with the guilt that comes with raising kids - the burning desire to be there to support them, the drive to do more, the nagging fear that maybe you’re losing yourself along the way… all coupled with the deep, slow resignation that maybe having it all really is impossible.

I knew there had to be a better way.

So I took one of my passions - exercise - and thought I’d get a few of my son's friends together for an after school running club. It was exciting to think about teaching the kids the empowerment that comes with setting goals and pushing your body through exercise. And hanging out with my kids every day, while making a few dollars along the way seemed like an all around win. 

And boy, was that ever the right decision. That was when run club was born.

It was everything I could hope for and more. I was teaching kids they were powerful. I was showing them what it looked like to chase big goals. I was making money spending time with my own boys every single day. AND I was home in time for dinner. I truly had figured out a way to have it all. 

That was seven years ago. Today, moms in over 200 communities have built independent run club businesses using that same, proven DashStrøm curriculum. They are empowered women who now get to experience the deep peace and fulfillment of being a successful business owner who is changing kids’ lives AND has time to be the parent they want to be.
